The table lists what a plan does today. Elf grows week by week - a new module joins the plan it belongs to, at no extra cost, and this page catches up a little later than the app.
IoT hardware - data from your own vineyard
Elf reads data from off-the-shelf devices: an Ecowitt weather station, a ground thermometer, an OpenSprinkler controller, a Shelly socket in the cellar. We do not sell the hardware and we do not resell it - you buy it directly from the manufacturer or a local shop, so the warranty and any complaints stay with them. In Elf you only paste the API key.

Founding winemaker
- The 2026 season is free for everyone in the beta.
- The first five wineries that share their numbers as a case study get 2027 free as well.
- The remaining founders keep half price for as long as they stay - €4.50, €7.50 or €11 per month.
- In exchange we ask for honest feedback: compare our printouts with your paperwork and tell us what does not match.
Can I change plans during the year?
Yes, at any time. Moving up you pay the difference for the remaining months; moving down takes effect from the next period.
Do new features cost extra?
No. Elf gains new modules almost every week and each one joins the plan it belongs to - within your plan you get them at no extra cost. Hardware is the only thing you buy separately.
What happens after the 2026 season?
Nothing disappears. Your data stays on the account and you decide whether to move to a paid plan. If you do not, the account switches to read-only and you can still print your documentation.
Do I pay per user or per winery?
Per winery. You can add a partner, your spouse and your accountant at no extra charge.
Do I need hardware to start?
No. Weather and disease models run on meteorological data for your location. An Ecowitt station gives you accuracy on your own site, not access to features.
