Mammotion Mower
BetaStatus and control of a Mammotion mowing robot inside Elf. You see battery, working mode, GPS signal quality and task progress, and you start inter-row mowing with a button and a confirmation. A person sends the command, not an automation.
The module is in beta. It is rolling out to Elf accounts now - if it is not in your menu yet, it will show up with one of the next updates.
What you see on the page
- ✓ Battery with a status badge: OK above 40%, Warning between 15% and 40%, Alarm below 15%. While the robot charges in the dock, the card says so.
- ✓ Working mode: idle, charging, ready, mowing, paused, returning to base, locating the station, raising and lowering the blades.
- ✓ GPS RTK signal counted in satellites. Below 5 satellites the position is useless, a dozen or more means calm work.
- ✓ Progress of the current task in percent, robot model, blade height and the position on Google Maps when you click the coordinates.
Control
- Start mowing - starts the mowing task planned for the robot.
- Pause - the robot stops where it stands, and you resume the task with Start mowing.
- Stop and return - ends the task and sends the mower back to its docking station.
- Mower offline - the buttons are disabled, because the command would not reach the machine anyway.
Camera preview
The mower carries a forward-facing camera. You switch the preview on with a button and you do not leave it running, because the picture travels over the robot's own 4G link. The mower has to be online for anything to appear, and in demo mode the preview stays unavailable.
What this module does not do
- • Elf does not start mowing by itself. There is no automation here that sends the robot out on a forecast or at a set hour.
- • Elf sends no notifications when mowing ends or the battery runs low. You check the status on the module page.
- • You do not draw mowing maps or routes in Elf. The task plan is made in the manufacturer's app; Elf starts it and shows the progress.
- • This is an integration with hardware that belongs to you. When the robot loses 4G coverage or the manufacturer's cloud stops answering, Elf says so plainly instead of pretending that everything is fine.
What you need
- 1. A Mammotion mowing robot with a working account in the manufacturer's cloud.
- 2. The bridge, a small service that sits between Elf and the Mammotion cloud. The chain runs: Elf, bridge, manufacturer's cloud, mower over 4G.
- 3. The bridge address entered under Settings › Sensors (IoT) › Mammotion and checked with Test connection.
Until the bridge is configured, the module shows an empty state and a demo preview button with sample data. You can see how the page behaves, but nothing moves out in the vineyard.
